Pedro Fleitas' budo name is 'Unruyu' which means 'Cloud Dragon' and is also the name of his dojo in his birth town of Telde on the Canary Islands.
He is one of the first westerners that started to train with Soke Hatsumi in Japan and is a truly international figure who travels regulary to Japan and gives seminars on a regular basis all around the globe.

• Since 1998 he has made 54 study tours to Japan.
• He has attended almost all of the international Taikais of Soke Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and has been one of Soke Hatsumi's favourite ukes.
• Participation in over 40 international conferences.
• Organizer of two international Taikai's held on the Island of Gran Canaria in 1991 and 1992 and taught by the Soke Masaaki Hatsumi.
• Co-organizer of Taikai Barcelona in 1997 and Taikai Argentinia in 1993 taught by the Soke Masaaki Hatsumi.
• In addition he has received Soke 2 times in his home in Gran Canaria.
• During the last ten years he has taught over 300 seminars.
