Laurentiu Fulga is both an Australian and Romanian citizen, born on 28.12.1970 in Romania (NATO and European Union member country).

Activity:

As a University Student he was working part time with very good results in Massage and Inforenergetic Healing Therapy.
In that time he also started Photojournalist activity for a pet magazine and he published two books about homing pigeon sport.

From 1997 until 2002 he was Physical and Sport Teacher in one of the top Romanian High Schools.

In 1999 he was invited as a photojournalist to the USA and for one year he had the chance to accumulate American experience in photography and advertising productions in New York.

Since 2002 he emigrated to Australia and after completing a course he received a Security Licence from the Australian Police and was working as a security officer for Schools, Library, Council, Sydney Opera House, Department of Defence and in Sydney's China Town and Sydney's King’s Cross (Sydney's red-light district).

In this time he also edited for five years a Romanian Community Newspaper and investigated and published about Romanian organized crime involved in high level Australian drug trafficking, and about corruption in romanian secret service links with the former Romanian Dictator’s Communist secret service.

Laurentiu Fulga is a Vice-President of the Romanian Green Party - a member of the European Green Party.

At this moment his life involves traveling between the Australian and Romanian summer!

Martial Arts Experience:

Laurentiu Fulga started practice martial arts in 1990, after “the Romanian Revolution in ‘89” when the Communist Dictator was killed and democratic freedom came about in Romania and people then had the rights to practice martial arts.

He practiced Goju Ryu Karate for few years and Ki-Aikido for two years. After that he practiced chinese martial arts Wushu (Sanshou & Chin Na) and in 1999 he received the Wushu Instructor & Coach Licence.

But because he always believed Martial Arts must be more than just forms (Kata or Taolu), competition and height category, he was looking for a complete traditional Martial Arts.

He was looking for Ninjutsu but in Romania at that time no shihan or shidoshi existed.

In 2002  he emigrated to Australia, and after coulpe of years he discovered a true ninjutsu shihan in Kokusai Dojo –Sydney.  From that point he followed training in Bujinkan with Shihan John Cantor 15th Dan and Shihan Nicholas Lynn 11th Dan.

Shidoshi-Ho Laurentiu Fulga had the chance to train in a Sydney seminars with  Shihan Robin Doenicke 15th Dan, Shihan Gillian Booth 15th Dan, Shihan Tim Bathurst 15th Dan, Shihan Paul Masse 15t Dan, Shihan Jeffrey Prather 15th Dan, Shihan Michael Pearce 13th Dan & Shihan Peter White 10th Dan and looks forward to the day when he goes to train in Japan !
